S Petrove gore na palačinke u „Muljavu“!

I u prvom tjednu mjeseca studenog ljeto još uvijek traje (sunce uz dosta kiše, 20 i više stupnjeva C)! Iskoristili su to bjelovarski planinari te po lijepu vremenu, u majicama kratkih rukava (!) prohodali Petrovom gorom. I tu pun autobus (41 planinar) u koji se u Karlovcu ukrcalo još sedmero planinara iz PD Šumar, društva koje je i osmislilo stazu na Petrovoj gori.

Ovdje sve kreće od Lovačkog doma Muljava, lijepog i uređenog objekta podno gore u kojem se na gostoprimstvo i hranu nitko ne može požaliti, a brojni Karlovčani ne propuštaju nedjeljom ovdje „svratiti“ na sada već čuvene palačinke! Izabrali su Bjelovarčani koje je vodio Željko Mužjak, a pomagao mu i u male tajne pojedinih lokaliteta upućivao ih „šumar“ Dražen, Zelenu stazu. To je s odmorima i s obzirom na veliku grupu, nešto manje od pet sati hoda. Svako malo na ovom se kružnom planinarskom putu nailazi na zanimljive lokalitete: krenuli su Bjelovarčani poučnom stazom Rimskim put, pa šumskom cestom, vlakama, kolotrazima, prema Velikom Petrovcu uz zapušteni monumentalni spomenik iz NOB-a podignut po ideji kipara Vojina Bakića (e tu se nije moglo prići jer se baš snimao neki film u Njemačko-češkoj koprodukciji!). Kroz krasnu svim jesenskim bojama prošaranu bukovu šumu malo uzbrdo do vrha, Malog Petrovca (512 m). Planinari su prošli i uz lokalitet Kraljev grob (gdje je prema legendi u boju između ugarske i hrvatske vojske 1097.godine poginuo hrvatski kralj Petar Svačić), pa uz ostatke Pavlinskoga samostana, te uz hrpu kamenja usred šume nazvanu Mali Velebit natrag do Muljave. Odmor, odličan ručak, dakako i palačinke, pa uz kratko zaustavljanje u Karlovcu, pravac Bjelovar.
